Yang Longhai was born in Guiyang, China in 1978 and graduated from the Guizhou Institute of the Arts in 2000. In the beginning of 2006 he founded the Chinese Contemporary Art Files Project (CCAFP) and since then has been collaborating on the organization of 21 contemporary art exhibitions for island6 Arts Center. In 2007, he started to assist the French artist/curator Thomas Charvériat in the creation of the island6Lab (Liu Dao), an electronic and interactive Chinese art group that provides state-of-the-art tools for digital research and experimentation. |

A native of Livorno, Riccardo Pocci is a very talented young artist. In 1997, he graduated in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, after receiving the title of Master of Art from the National Institute of Art in Pisa (1990). Time spent at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada (Spain) and numerous scholarships at the University of La Plata in Argentina complete his training. |

Born in Rome in 1967, Pietro Calabrese lives and works there. After having obtained his Bachelor's degree in Art, he enrolled at the Roman Faculty of Architecture. A Self-taught man, he avoided legalistic and outdated schemas purpetrated by the system of those years, preferring a itinerary passing, on the one side, by the choice of courses baded on the multiplicity of "doing architecture", and on the other, through the critical, direct study and photographic documentation of the works of the masters of the Movimento Moderno and contemporary architecture, with a focus on Scandinavian and German architectural texts. |
